WHY SIERRA UNLIMITED?
The home renovation process has several moving parts. At Sierra Unlimited, we break down the process so we can move one step at a time.
01
Discuss and Budget
To start, we sit down with you in your home to listen to your needs, wants and challenges. We will also have an initial budget discussion to better guide the design process.
02
Strategize and Plan
Next, we begin exploring ideas with you. This involves several design review meetings before we come to agreement on the perfect solution for you. We find the most successful projects are the result of the creative synergy between us and our clients. Together, we look at material options for all aspects of your project. We use a budget spreadsheet unique to your project to organize everything that must be selected and track estimated costs. Later we will use this tool to track orders, deliveries, and any budget variances. It’s all laid out clearly so you can see where your investment is going.
03
Custom Fabrication
During this phase, our shop is hard at work creating customized pieces just for you. No matter what style or color you are looking for, we can make it happen. Inset or frameless cabinetry, beautiful hardwoods or exotic veneers, hand wiped stains or bespoke painted finishes—anything is possible.
04
Installation
We want everything ready before we show up for the first day of work at your home. Managing the sourcing and purchasing of all materials means your project stays organized and moves through phases smoothly. This is how we consistently execute quality work in a timely manner that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
FAQs
What areas do you work in?
We work all over Western NY.
What will my project cost?
Budget is an important part of our initial meeting with you. The cost of your project will depend on the size and scope of work as well as the desired level of finishes.
How long will it take?
The total time spent on a project includes design development, fabrication, and construction. The time we will spend in your home depends on the size and scope of your project. Our process is designed for efficiency so that everything is ready when we come to start work at your home. The schedule is part of our early discussions with you.
Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully licensed and fully insured.
Can I see some of your projects? References?
We welcome clients into our fabrication space and showroom. Our past clients welcome prospective ones into their homes and are the best references for working with us. We can connect you with a client who has done a project most similar to yours.
Do you give free estimates?
A true estimate is the result of hours of time spent with you designing your project. We can discuss budget ranges for most projects in an initial discussion. A fully developed project budget estimate comes after several meetings with you and time spent by us on design and compiling costs for rough and finish materials as well as labor. That level of detail requires a retainer which will vary based on the size of the project and number of hours required to get to that point. This is something we discuss in our initial meeting with you.
What if I am already working with an interior designer or architect?
We’ve worked with some of the finest designers and architects in Buffalo. Our style is collaborative, so if you have already started planning your project or have a relationship with other design professionals we would love to work together.
